In 4 days I will getting on a plane and landing in Milan, Italy. Excited isn't even the word to describe how I am feeling! I am going to be doing a placement in a primary school where I will be teaching children English and staying with families who have connections to the school. I can't believe how generous the schools and families are for giving students at my University this experience. The way the education system works already fascinates me. We've been told to be prepared to do a lot of gardening! I get the impression the school has a great curriculum very different to ours in England. I'm so excited to learn about it all and gain a better knowledge of the way children learn in other countries.
I hope to explore Milan while I am there too. Milan seems like an amazing city to visit and I look forward to acting like a total tourist and doing all the typical tourist sight-seeing! i'm going to research what the best things are to see before I go, just to make sure i see everything :P
So the use of this blog is basically just to document everything I see and learn. Be prepared for lots of photos of sights around Milan and me getting over excited writing about stuff no-one else finds particularly interesting!
